From romantic homes to stay in Lexington or Bardstown, to treehouses and lakefront cabins in remote areas, each airbnb in Kentucky on this list combines the comforts of home with fresh air, fantastic views or a gorgeous area nearby, and direct access to some of Kentucky’s best nature spots.

If you feel the call of nature or adventure, or simply craving some solitude, these hand-picked accommodation options are here to inspire your wanderlust.

When we lived in Lexington, we traveled almost all over the state, going on different getaways and road trips in Kentucky. During that time, I was saving in my map unique and romantic places where to stay for our possible future trip. So this post consists of airbnbs that I saved for my own inspiration for travel around Kentucky. There are definitely many more amazing homes but here are some of my (personally) favorite ones.
