Where to Travel in Europe By Country

Discover Europe beyond the usual tourist routes, with gems even locals don’t know much about!

Europe By Destination

Discover Europe one destination at a time – your guide to the best cities,
hidden gems, and unforgettable experiences across the continent

Baltics & Nordics

Living in Tallinn makes it easy to explore the Baltics and Nordics — by a short flight, car, ferry, or train. From Estonia and Latvia to Finland and Norway, these guides reflect my ongoing, in-depth travels across Northern Europe, a region I now call home.

Central Europe

I’ve explored every country in Central Europe — and keep returning often, especially since my mom now lives in Germany.

Explore my personal take on the region, with up-to-date insights on cities, towns, and road trips through the heart of Europe.

Southern Europe

Spain has become home in many ways — I live part of the year in the Canary Islands and used to live on the mainland. From there, I regularly explore Southern Europe, with frequent trips to Italy and Portugal.

These stories, tips, and itineraries come after my travels in the region to places I know well and return to often, alongside new spots I’ve explored more recently.

The Balkans

II’ve spent a lot of time in the Balkans over the years — not just traveling, but also living in places like Montenegro for many months at a time. I even returned recently to explore the region with the idea of buying property there.

From detailed guides on Montenegro to seasonal tips for Croatia and beyond, this section reflects both my deep travel experience and my personal connection to the region.

Turkey

I lived in Türkiye full-time for a couple of years and now return regularly for extended stays — always revisiting my favorite places and uncovering new ones.

This section brings together my most helpful posts to inspire and guide your trip, based on real experience and years of exploring the country in depth.

Eastern Europe

I’m originally from Ukraine — so this region is deeply personal to me. While I’ve written mostly about Ukraine so far (with updates coming soon), I occasionally share thoughts and tips on nearby countries too.

Caucasus

Most of my experience in the Caucasus comes from Georgia, where I spent time living and working on different projects — while also exploring the country extensively, from wine regions to mountain villages.

These posts offer a personal perspective on travel in Georgia, with practical tips and honest impressions from someone who’s been back more than once.
